My diet and weight loss forum is actually a series of separate forums, each dealing with a different area of diet and weight reduction.
This forum is specifically for newcomers. When members first join the weight loss program, they drop in here to introduce themselves. This gives other members an opportunity to welcome them and offer instant encouragement.
Weekly Weigh-In Forum
Each week, members weigh-in and report how they are doing. It’s a great way to stay focused on your diet. Anne Collins offers personal advice and tips to every member who weighs in.
Personal Logs Forum
This is where members start their own log and keep a journal of their food, exercise, and personal weight loss goals. Other members ‘visit’ to chat, encourage, offer advice and make some new friends. Some members prefer to keep a private and confidential online journal – only accessible by themselves – to record their daily food intake, exercise routines and general weight loss progress.
Diet Issues Discussion Forum
On this forum we help members to develop a WINNING ATTITUDE by discussing ALL diet issues, especially “how to overcome daily problems.”

Having the right Incentive is absolutely critical for successful weight loss. Many people, for various reasons, lose weight more slowly than others. Because of this, we set up the 1/2 Pound A Week Club where people who lose more slowly support each other and make everything a whole lot easier.

New and Breastfeeding Moms
This is where our new moms talk to other new moms who are working on losing that ‘baby’ weight! Members who are breastfeeding discuss dietary needs and share tips and advice with other nursing moms. A great place to relax, get help and get a little “me-time”.
Special thread for our Brides-to-Be to talk to each other and get help and support. Many are at different stages of their weight loss journey, some just starting out, some close to their wedding goal. A place to share your excitement, news of your dress shopping, wedding and honeymoon plans and, of course, to calm some of those “wedding nerves”.
Members who have a condition that makes it more difficult to reduce weight find it really helpful to talk to others who have similiar difficulties. As well as sharing their weight loss progress, members also discuss what treatments they have tried, what has worked (and not worked).
Working shift makes it more difficult to stick to a regular eating plan. Many of our members work 12-hour shifts and use this thread to talk to others for advice and tips – about food, meal-planning and tons of other issues.
